About Me

I am a young entrepreneur from a small town in India called Bhubaneswar. I’ve travelled more than half the world and now live in Sunnyvale, California. Ever since I was 4 months old my family and I have always moved places every few years. Off late, thanks to my startups, I have had the chance to spend a few years outside of India as well. I cherish all these years of travel because it helps me learn and understand so many different cultures and food! I love technology products, especially in the SaaS, enterprise and media spaces. I also love nature and wildlife!

I am currently the Co-founder and CMO of a mobile app security company called Appknox. I recently graduated with a Masters degree in Business Administration from the S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.  I am also the Founder of TheTechPanda.com, one of India’s early digital media platforms dedicated to startups and entrepreneurship. TheTechPanda was recently acquired by Espacio, a media incubator based in Medellin, Colombia.

I started my first company called Achillean when I was 19. Achillean helped build custom software primarily for educational institutes and SMEs. I also had a short stint at Pluggd.in, popularly known as the Techcrunch of India, where I handled operations and also reviewed startups. I enjoy writing for other blogs and publications too, like Economic Times, e27, Tech in Asia B-School.com, KillerStartups.com and more.

I have been lucky enough to have been to many of India’s top institutes to speak on the benefits of spirituality, yoga, and meditation in the lives of today’s students and business managers. I have been a speaker at XIMB, ,KIIT UniversityUtkal University, IIT KGP, NIT Raipur, etc. I have also been a guest speaker on BBC World Service Radio show Click which focuses on the benefits of technology and how it affects people’s lives across the globe.

I am an ardent follower of Sri Sri Ravishankar of the Art of Living foundation.
